I Am Alive Mods: A Guide to the Best Mods for this Post-Apocalyptic Game



I am going to remove VCOM from the mod list, and do some more testing. Spawning 10 units statically in the editor, I did see similar issues, but not to the severity it occurs with alive (which I am guessing is due to the profiling).

Much like @Friznit mentioned we declared sound mods a major no-no on our missions server for the same reason because they do all kinds of things that don't just work on the "clientside" as they are supposedly built to do.


Looking at the tuning changes, it seems all of my simple mods, so No Constant Phone, Faster Parenthood Authority Gain, etc. seem to be good to go. Be sure to report anything though!


R3F Enhanced Logistics (ALiVE Compatible)R3F Enhanced Logistics is the continuation of the R3F Advanced Logistics / R3F Logistics mods. The reason I am reuploading this mod was to fix the ALiVE Persistence. The R3F Team and Crowe deserve the credit for creating this mod. I am just picking up the torch to keep the fire burning. I really wanted the ALiVE Persistence to work with the R3F Advanced Logistics mod so I got some help and found the fix. Both R3F Logistics and R3F Advanced Logistics have been left untouched for many years now.


Legality StuffR3F Enhanced Logistics (ALiVE Compatible) was not reuploaded in an attempt to claim fame or steal ideas from any previous mod authors including the R3F Team, S. Crowe, or Duda. I am trying to follow all the licenses of the original R3F Logistics, R3F Advanced Logistics, and Advance Towing. The code used from these mods outlined falls under GNU General Public License V3 or The MIT License respectively. As far as I am concerned, you may do as you wish with my fork of this mod and update/change to your heart's desire.


Hey, I am having an issue with this working on a dedicated server. When I host a local game via the Eden editor on the same mission file that is on the server, the mod works no problem. However, if I hop over to my dedicated server running the same mods and mission file, I am no longer able to interact with and load props into vehicles. Is there something specific I have to do for this to work on a dedicated server?

The RPG still averages roughly 4,000 players on Steam, a ridiculous achievement for any game. Obviously, Obsidian Entertainment deserves a lot of credit for FNV's longevity, but the modding community is also a significant force behind the RPG's lasting presence. The best Fallout: New Vegas mods come in many shapes and intentions; some improve the gameplay, others fix bugs, and a whole lot add fresh content.


This creator also added a mod like this for Fallout 3, and the fact that this ended up inspiring the people over at Obsidian Entertainment to integrate weapon mods in their game is quite an achievement indeed. With WMX for Fallout: New Vegas, this base modding system is expanded upon considerably for massively entertaining results.


Weapon mods are some of the most readily available for pretty much any type of RPG, and Fallout: New Vegas is no exception. Generally, a single weapon is not going to have too much of an impact on the overall experience, outside of making the campaign easier, harder, cooler, or sillier.


One of the best Fallout: New Vegas mods to overhaul its gunplay is the "Asurah Reanimation Pack." This mod overhauls nearly every weapon animation in the game ranging from firing animations to reloads. These animations are some of the best on the Nexus and make New Vegas feel much closer to a proper shooter than ever before. It even works with popular weapon mods on the Nexus with some compatibility patches.


Someguy's series of quest mods are some of the best for Fallout: New Vegas. Out of all of Someguy's quest mods, the "New Vegas Bounties" series is the best assortment of quests that fit right into New Vegas.


These mods are all about bounty hunting. Players get the choice of gunning down their targets for pay or bringing them in alive for better payment. Without spoiling it, these targets each add to an overarching narrative that is expertly done and stands alongside some of Obsidian's best quests in the main game. Anyone that wants to turn New Vegas into more of a western RPG should definitely give "New Vegas Bounties" a try.


One of New Vegas's first major overhaul mods is also one of its best. "Project Nevada" aims to enhance the game by overhauling core sandbox elements while adding new systems like cybernetics to further increase replayability.


Some players argue whether Fallout 3 is better than New Vegas. Well, why not combine the best of both worlds? "Tale of Two Wastelands" is one of the most impressive mods available for New Vegas, combining Fallout 3 and New Vegas into one game.


Ratings are calculated using Evan Miller's method (based on a Wilson score confidence interval) that is self-correcting. This means that the % of positive ratings & number of ratings decide a mods position on the top charts. The benefit of this approach is a mod with 2 positive ratings will not outrank one with 10 positive ratings but 2 negative. Nor will a mod with tons of rankings outrank everything unless most of the ratings are positive.

So I am running Minecraft 1.8.9 forge, version 1.8.9-forge1.8.9-11.15.1.1722, and when I launch Minecraft without the mca mod, it works, but when I try with the mca mods, a message appears- "Forge mod loader has found a problem with your Minecraft installation The mods listed below could not be found Radix core : minimum version required is 1.8.9-2.1.2 the file 'logs/fml-cleint-latest.log' contains more information." I have tried different downloads, no success, and the forge version on the mod and on my forge are identical (1.8.9-forge1.8.9-11.15.1.1722) can someone please tell me what is wrong and what I have to do? this mod looks really fun and I really wanna try it out =(


So.... the problem is that when I try to open a new world, or open an old one, it loads, then it says building terrain....theeenn it crashes, and goes back to the title screen! Dunno if it's my computer specs (4gb ram, AMD a6-5200 APU with Radeon TM HD graphics, 2.00 GHz, and a 64-bit os. plz help, I haven't gotten any responses, you sound pretty experienced =). Oh yeah, and P.S: I'm running 14 mods in total, with optifine installed, if that means anything.


Ok so I messed around a bit, and now I think I figured it out. When I run Minecraft with only 3 or 4 small mods, it runs fine and loads the world. when I get the other mods into the game, it goes back to the main menu of Minecraft. So, I decided to keep the launcher open this time, and got this when I opened the world: 2ff7e9595c
